Nita Maynard (born 7 July 1992) is a New Zealand rugby league footballer who currently plays for the Newcastle Knights in the NRL Women's Premiership. Primarily a , she is a New Zealand and New South Wales representative. Before switching to rugby league, she represented Australia in rugby union and rugby sevens. She previously played for the Sydney Roosters, Parramatta Eels and Brisbane Broncos. Background Born in Gisborne, New Zealand, Maynard moved to Australia in 2011. The Indigenous Australian rugby league team (also known as the Indigenous All Stars or Indigenous Dreamtime team) is a rugby league football team that represents Aboriginal Australians and Torres Strait Islanders. 2020 NRL Grand Final
The 2020 NRL Grand Final was the conclusive and premiership-deciding game of the 2020 National Rugby League season held at Sydney's ANZ Stadium on October 25. The 2019 Rugby League World Cup 9s was the first staging of the Rugby League World Cup 9s tournament and took place on 18 and 19 October 2019 at Sydney's Bankwest Stadium. New Zealand Warriors
The New Zealand Warriors are a professional rugby league football club based in Auckland, New Zealand that competes in the National Rugby League (NRL) premiership and is the League's only team from outside Australia. They were formed in 1995 as the Auckland Warriors, and are officially known as the One New Zealand Warriors for sponsorship reasons. The 2018 NRL Women's Premiership (NRLW) was the first season of professional women's rugby league in Australia. The 2017 Women's Rugby League World Cup was the fifth staging of the Women's Rugby League World Cup and was held in Australia between 16 November and 2 December 2017.
