Nissan Trade
The Nissan Trade is a light commercial vehicle that was produced by Nissan Motor Ibérica from 1987 to 2001 in Spain and was marketed only in Europe. It was a replacement for the Ebro F108, itself a rebadged Alfa Romeo Romeo van, that was marketed exclusively in Spain, competing primarily against the Effedi Gasolone and the Hyundai Libero. Production It was available in both van and chassis cab forms, although the van variants were mostly available to Spain, with the chassis cabs being exported. It was based on the same chassis as the Ebro F108 vehicle, although it had different drivetrain and engine options. Heavy-duty versions had a rear-wheel-drive configuration, while lighter versions were front-wheel drive. These vehicles were powered by Perkins engines. Nissan Motor Ibérica
Nissan Motor Ibérica S.A. is the Spanish arm of Japanese automaker Nissan that specializes in the sales and distribution of Nissan automobiles in Spain. Until 2021, it also manufactured automobiles and engines. NMI's headquarters are based in the Zona Franca industrial area of the Catalan city of Barcelona. Another of the company's assembly plants is located in Ávila in the Castile and León region. Parts are produced in Montcada i Reixac in the province of Barcelona and manufactured in Los Corrales de Buelna, Cantabria. As of 2010, the number of employees at Nissan Motor Ibérica was 5200. Fuel injection is the introduction of fuel in an internal combustion engine, most commonly automotive engines, by the means of an injector. Avia was the brand name under which the commercial vehicles built by Aeronáutica Industrial S.A. (AISA) a company that was founded in Madrid in 1956, originally as an aircraft repairing organization, later started to manufacture their own new light vans and FC pickup trucks. However they were taken over in 1970 by another Spanish large manufacturer called Ebro trucks, EBRO Motor Iberica based in industrial Barcelona. From 1970 on, all vehicles were renamed and known as AVIA-Ebro employing modern engineering and new mechanicals.
