Nishi Kohli (known professionally as Nishi) is an Indian actress who has worked in Punjabi and Hindi-language films. She frequently acted with Dara Singh. Career Although Nishi was a Punjabi film star, she also worked in Hindi films where she was often cast in secondary roles. She worked in A-list films in Punjab that earned national film awards. Her most prominent Punjabi films are ''Main Jatti Punjab Di'', alongside co-star, Prem Nath and ''Satluj De Kandhe'', alongside co-star Balraj Sahni. Sialkot ( ur, ) is a city located in Punjab, Pakistan. It is the capital of Sialkot District and the 13th most populous city in Pakistan. ''Naya Kanoon'' () is a 1965 Indian Hindi-language film, written and directed by R. C. Talwar. The film stars Ashok Kumar, Bharat Bhushan and Vyjayanthimala in the lead with Om Prakash, Badri Prasad, Leela Mishra, Kamal Mehra, Purnima and Nishi appearing in other significant roles.
