Niratcha Tungtisanont
Niratcha Tungtisanont ( th, ณิรัฐชา ตังติสานนท์), nicknamed Grace ( th, เกรซ) (born 19 April 1987 in Bangkok) is a Thai model and beauty pageant titleholder who the official representative of Thailand to the 2011 Miss Earth pageant. She is also an assistant professor at the University of Maryland, College Park. Personal life Tungtisanont was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a BA in Economics and Mathematics, and an MS in Agricultural and Resource Economics. After her pageant career, she continued her study and received a Ph.D. in Operations Management from Clemson University. Her dissertation focuses on recovery from floods. She is currently an assistant professor at the University of Maryland, College Park, in the Department of Logistics, Business & Public Policy at the Robert H. Smith School of Business. Miss Earth Thailand is a national title given to a Thai woman to represent Thailand at the Miss Earth pageant, an annual international major beauty pageant that advocates for environmental awareness, conservation, and social responsibility. Miss Earth 2010, the 10th anniversary of the Miss Earth pageant, was held on 4 December 2010 at the Vinpearl Land Amphitheater in Nha Trang, Vietnam. Larissa Ramos of Brazil crowned her successor Nicole Faria of India at the end of the event. She was the first Miss Earth from India.
