Kalamandalam Kshemavathy
Kalamandalam Kshemavathy (born 1948) is a Mohiniyattam dancer from Thrissur, Kerala. She is an alumna of the Kerala Kalamandalam. She joined the institute when she was ten. After completion of the course, she undertook advanced training in Bharata Natyam under Muthuswamy Pillai and Chitra Visweswaran, and in Kuchipudi under Vempati Chinna Satyam, but chose to remain within the Mohiniyattam tradition. Credentials She was awarded the Padma Shri in 2011 for her contributions to Mohinyattam. She has also received the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, She received the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi Award in 1975 (for Bharatanatyam) and the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi Fellowship in 2015. Jameela Malik
Jameela Malik (1945/1946 – 28 January 2020) was an Indian actress in south Indian movies. She acted in Malayalam and Tamil films in the 1970s and 1980s. She received critical acclaim and appreciation, for all the movies she acted, from the critics and audience as well. She entered the film industry with the film ''Aadhyathe Katha'' in 1972. She was the first woman from Kerala to graduate from the Film and Television Institute of India. She worked as teacher in schools. She was married for a year and had a son. She had also acted in more than twenty television serials during the 1990s. She died on 28 January 2020 at the age of 74. Latha, also known as M.G.R. Latha or Latha Sethupathi, (born 7 June 1953) is an Indian actress, who played leading roles in South Indian films from 1973 to 1983. She is also known for her roles in various serials in Tamil language. Early life Her photogenic looks and dancing skills attracted attention from the Tamil film industry. Sujatha (10 December 1952 – 6 April 2011) was an Indian actress who performed and staggered in a number of unique and variety of characters in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films- in addition to few in Kannada and Hindi languages as well. The actress was best known for restraint and subtlety in portrayal of varied emotions. After starring in numerous Malayalam films in her mother-tongue, Sujatha later got introduced to the Tamil film industry by veteran director K. Balachander and producer P.R. Govindarajan as a protagonist in her first Tamil film, ''Aval Oru Thodar Kathai'' (1974). It was a critically acclaimed film and launched the actress's first commecrical breakthrough in her acting career. KPAC Lalitha
Maheshwari Amma, better known by her stage name K. P. A. C. Lalitha, was an Indian film and stage actress who worked primarily in Malyalam. She started her acting career with K. P. A. C., a theatre collective in Kayamkulam, Kerala. In a career spanning five decades, she starred in over 550 films.
