Ning An (footballer)
Ning An ( or ''Níng Ān''; or ; born 8 October 1995 in Guangzhou) is a Chinese football player who currently plays for Guangzhou City. Club career Ning An was promoted to Chinese Super League side Guangzhou R&F's (now known as Guangzhou City) first team squad by manager Dragan Stojković in 2016. He made his senior debut on 12 March 2016 in a 1–0 away victory against Tianjin Teda, coming on as a substitute for Chang Feiya in the 87th minute. Ning was loaned to Hong Kong Premier League side R&F, which was the satellite team of Guangzhou R&F, in February 2017. He made his debut on 18 February 2017 in a 4–3 away win against Hong Kong FC Hong Kong Football Club (HKFC; ), established in 1886, is a private members' club in Hong Kong. Ning (surname)
Ning is the romanisation of the Chinese surnames 寧 ''Níng'' and its variant 甯 ''Nìng''. After the introduction of simplified characters, both names were written as 宁 in Mainland China until 2000, when the character 甯 was restored as an accepted variant for people whose family had originally used that character. The Chinese Football Association Division Two League (Simplified Chinese: 中国足球协会乙级联赛), or China League Two, is the third tier league of the People's Republic of China. The league is under the auspices of the Chinese Football Association. Above the League Two is the premier league - the Chinese Super League and the League One. The league below China League Two is the Chinese Champions League. There are two groups in League Two, northern and southern. The top four teams from each group enter the promotion play-off after each regular season. Hong Kong Football Association Sapling Cup (), more commonly known as Sapling Cup (), is a Hong Kong domestic football competition contested by all the teams in the Hong Kong Premier League. The objective of the Cup is to provide more playing opportunities for youth players in Hong Kong. The champions will receive HK$100,000 in prize money while the runners up will receive HK$40,000. The Hong Kong Senior Challenge Shield (), known commonly as the Senior Shield, is the football knockout inter-club competition held in Hong Kong and the fourth oldest football tournament in Asia. Traditionally, only the teams in the Hong Kong Premier League are entered into the competition. However, on occasion teams in lower divisions, usually the champions of the Junior Shield, are invited in order to increase the number of participating teams.
