Nina Johnsrud
Nina Johnsrud (born 16 February 1959) is a Norwegian journalist who works as a crime reporter for the Oslo newspaper ''Dagsavisen''. She was awarded the Fritt Ord Honorary Award for courageous journalism in 2012. Education and early career Johnsrud studied Spanish at the University of Oslo and was then educated at Norsk journalisthøgskole (English: Norwegian Journalist College), now part of Oslo and Akershus University College. She has worked for the Lindesnes, ''Bergens Arbeiderblad'', '' VG'', ''Østlandets Blad'' and ''Klassekampen'' before starting as a journalist in ''Dagsavisen.'' She has also taught at Norsk journalisthøgskole. Career in ''Dagsavisen'' She started working in ''Dagsavisen'' in 1985. One of her interests was immigrants and minorities in Norway. She became involved in reporting on crime when she covered the conflict between the ''Young Guns'' and ''B-gjengen'' (English: The B-gang) gangs after a man was killed at Tøyen in 2001. Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. The municipality of Oslo had a population of in 2022, while the city's greater urban area had a population of in 2019, and the metropolitan area had an estimated population of in 2021. During the Viking Age the area was part of Viken. Oslo District Court
Oslo District Court ( no, Oslo tingrett) is a district court located in Oslo, Norway. This court is based at the Oslo Courthouse in the city of Oslo. The court serves the entire city of Oslo and the court is subordinate to the Borgarting Court of Appeal. As the largest district court in Norway, it handles about 20% of all cases in the country. The court handled 3,000 criminal and 2,200 civil cases, as well as 7,200 summary proceedings in 2007. It is led by a chief justice (), and has 100 appointed professional and deputy judges. Arslan Ubaydullah Maroof Hussain (born 1985) is a Norwegian former spokesperson of the Salafi-jihadist group Profetens Ummah. He has been arrested since December 2015, convicted for recruitment of jihadist foreign fighters, and for membership of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL). Profetens Ummah ( en, "The Prophet's Ummah", ar, أمة النبي) is a Salafi-jihadist Islamist organisation based in Norway. Since its emergence in late 2011 the group has become notorious for its vocal demonstrations, as well as statements praising Islamic terrorism. Arfan Bhatti
Arfan Qadeer Bhatti (born 9 August 1977) is a Norwegian Islamist and a leading figure in the Islamic State-affiliated group Profetens Ummah. Early life Bhatti was born and raised in Oslo to parents of Pakistani origin. He spent several years in Pakistan during his childhood in addition to attending school in Norway, but was eventually brought under the care of a child protection institution. He joined the criminal youth gang Young Guns when he was thirteen years old, and when he was fifteen years old he hit the owner of a local grocery store in the head with a glass bottle so that it shattered and then stabbed the victim in the abdomen numerous times, for which he received his first criminal conviction. Oppegård
Oppegård is an area in Nordre Follo, Viken, Norway. Oppegård was a municipality in the former county Akershus. It is part of the traditional region of Follo. The administrative centre of the municipality was the village of Kolbotn. The municipality of Oppegård was separated from the municipality of Nesodden on 1 July 1915. Oppegård municipality had an area of , hence it was the smallest municipality in Akershus by area. On 1 January 2020, Oppegård municipality was merged with Ski into the new Nordre Follo municipality.
