Nimbus Film
Nimbus Film is Denmark's third largest film production company. Nimbus Film has to date produced more than 30 feature films and many shorts and documentaries. Of their more known feature films are the Dogme 95 movies ''The Celebration'' (1998, directed by Thomas Vinterberg) which won the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival in 1998, and ''Mifune's Last Song'' (1999, directed by Søren Kragh-Jacobsen) which won the Silver Bear at Berlin International Film Festival 1999. Flame & Citron
''Flame & Citron'' ( da, Flammen & Citronen) is a 2008 historical drama film co-written and directed by the Danish director Ole Christian Madsen. The film, a fictionalized account based on historical events, stars Thure Lindhardt and Mads Mikkelsen as two Danish resistance movement fighters nicknamed Flammen and Citronen, during the Nazi occupation of Denmark in World War II. Attracted by the story of the pair since he was twelve, Madsen spent eight years along with co-writer Lars K. Andersen researching historical archives to produce it. Madsen's idea was to bring attention to the story of Flammen and Citronen as he felt it had been neglected or misrepresented. Nikolaj Arcel
Nikolaj Arcel (born 25 August 1972) is a Danish filmmaker and screenwriter. He is best known for his 2012 film ''A Royal Affair'' which won two prizes at the Berlin International Film Festival and was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the Academy Awards, as well as the 2017 American film '' The Dark Tower''. Ole Christian Madsen
Ole Christian Madsen (born 18 June 1966) is a Danish film director and script writer. Among his most successful projects are the movies ''Flame & Citron'', '' Prag'', '' Angels in Fast Motion'' ( da. ''Nordkraft'') and the TV series ''Rejseholdet'' and '' Edderkoppen'' (''The Spider'').
