Nikolai Nikolayevich Kovardaev (russian: Николай Николаевич Ковардаев; born 24 September 1970) is a Russian professional football coach and a former player. He is the manager of FC Torpedo-2 Moscow. Club career He made his professional debut in the Soviet Second League in 1987 for SK EShVSM Moscow. He played 1 game in the UEFA Cup 1992–93 for FC Dynamo Moscow. He also played for FC Lokomotiv Moscow in 1988 in USSR Federation Cup. Coaching career On 18 August 2022, Kovardaev was appointed as an assistant manager of the Russian Premier League club FC Torpedo Moscow. Volokolamsk
Volokolamsk (russian: Волокола́мск) is a town and the administrative center of Volokolamsky District in Moscow Oblast, Russia, located on the Gorodenka River, not far from its confluence with the Lama River, northwest of Moscow. Population: History It was first mentioned in the Voskresensk Chronicle under the year 1135. It was built by Novgorodian merchants on a portage (russian: Волок/Volok) on a waterway from Novgorod to Moscow and Ryazan, hence the name "Volokolamsk" (i.e., "Volok on the Lama"). In 1178, the town was burned by Vsevolod the Big Nest, who added it to Vladimir-Suzdal lands. His son Yaroslav II restored it to Novgorod in 1231. FC Mordovia Saransk (russian: ФК Мордовия Саранск) is a Russian association football club from Saransk, Republic of Mordovia. In its current state it was formed in 2005, through the merge of Biokhimik-Mordovia and Lisma-Mordovia. History The club was founded in 1961. In 2010, the club won promotion to the Russian First Division. On 8 May 2012, Mordovia beat Shinnik Yaroslavl 2–0 at home. The Soviet Second League (russian: Чемпионат СССР по футболу (вторая лига), Soviet football championship (Second League)) was the third highest division of Soviet football, below the Soviet First League. The league was formed in 1971 in place of the Class A Second Group of the Soviet football championship just a year after the division was downgraded to the third tier.
