Nikola Kastner
Nikola Kastner (born 1983 in Hamburg, West Germany) is an actress who has appeared in numerous German films and television productions. She is best known internationally for her roles in ''Homeland'' and ''Deutschland 83.'' She took private acting lessons as a child and from 2000 to 2002 appeared on stage at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg. Her film roles include ''Black Forest'' (2010), ''Phoenix'' and ''The Origin of Violence ''The Origin of Violence'' (French title: ''L'Origine de la violence'') is a 2016 Franco-German drama film directed by Élie Chouraqui, based on the Prix Renaudot-winning novel of the same name by Fabrice Humbert. ''Deutschland 83'' is a 2015 German television series starring Jonas Nay as a 24-year-old native of East Germany who, in 1983, is sent to West Germany as an undercover spy for the HVA, the foreign intelligence agency of the Stasi. It is a co-production of AMC Networks' SundanceTV and RTL Television by the production company, UFA Fiction, with international distribution by RTL Group's FremantleMedia International and North American distribution by Kino Lorber. ''Black Forest'' is a 2010 German thriller film directed by . It was released on 15 April 2010 in German cinemas. Plot Two couples from a large city go on vacation to an isolated farmhouse in the Black Forest. The men discover an old TV and try to repair it, to watch football games. This is not successful. However, one after the other sees things on the TV screen, related to the other's life. One finds the driver, who drove the group at the beginning of the film to the house, before the agreed pick up.
