Black Forest (2010 Film)
''Black Forest'' is a 2010 German thriller film directed by . It was released on 15 April 2010 in German cinemas. Plot Two couples from a large city go on vacation to an isolated farmhouse in the Black Forest. The men discover an old TV and try to repair it, to watch football games. This is not successful. However, one after the other sees things on the TV screen, related to the other's life. One finds the driver, who drove the group at the beginning of the film to the house, before the agreed pick up. He sees three corpses. Only Eva survived and was able to escape to the village. Also seen on the ghostly TV is the spirit of a child named Anne Marie, who had died some years ago on the farm. The Black Forest (german: Schwarzwald ) is a large forested mountain range in the state of Baden-Württemberg in southwest Germany, bounded by the Rhine Valley to the west and south and close to the borders with France and Switzerland. Hinterzarten is a resort village in the Black Forest (German: ''Schwarzwald''), located in the southwest of the state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Although Hinterzarten is mostly famous for its ski jumping, it has many other tourist attractions. Breitnau is a municipality in the district of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald in Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany, about 30 kilometres from the city of Freiburg im Breisgau. It is located within the High Black Forest. Geography The municipality of Breitnau is very spread out, with many, scattered, farmsteads, some of the very large, most of which have farmhouses with half-hipped roofs, typical of the Black Forest. The Swabian-Alemannic Fastnacht, Fasnacht (in Switzerland) or Fasnat/Faschnat (in Vorarlberg) is the pre-Lenten carnival in Alemannic folklore in Switzerland, southern Germany, Alsace and Vorarlberg.
