Niklas Rubin
Niklas Rubin (born December 23, 1995) is a Swedish professional ice hockey goaltender. He currently plays for Porin Ässät of the Liiga. Rubin has previously played for Luleå HF and Frölunda HC in the SHL. Rubin has also played for the Swedish national hockey team. Career Professional Porin Ässät (2022-present) In 2022, Niklas Rubin signed a one-year contract to Porin Ässät. On 30 December 2022 Rubin became the first Ässät goalie to be credited with a goal when TPS player Michael Dal Colle scored on his own net. On January 26 2023, Porin Ässät announced that Rubin had signed a one-year extension to his contract. Porin Ässät (men's Ice Hockey)
Porin Ässät (; Finnish language, Finnish for ''Pori Aces'' or ''Aces of Pori'') is a professional ice hockey club based in the town of Pori, Finland. They play in the Finnish elite league, Liiga. They play in the Porin jäähalli, Isomäki Areena. The team is also referred to as Pata and The Red Machine of Pori (''Porin Punakone''). The full name of the company operating the team is at present ''Porin Ässät ry#HC Ässät Pori Oy, HC Ässät Pori Oy''. Sweden Men's National Ice Hockey Team
The Sweden men's national ice hockey team ( sv, Sveriges herrlandslag i ishockey) is governed by the Swedish Ice Hockey Association. It is one of the most successful national ice hockey teams in the world and a member of the so-called " Big Six", the unofficial group of the six strongest men's ice hockey nations, along with Canada, the Czech Republic, Finland, Russia and the United States. Michael Dal Colle
Michael Dal Colle (born June 20, 1996) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He is currently playing in the Liiga with HC TPS. Before signing with HC TPS he played for the Bridgeport Islanders of the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract with the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League (NHL). Dal Colle was selected by the Islanders in the first round (fifth overall) of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. Dal Colle was born in Richmond Hill, Ontario, but grew up in Vaughan, Ontario. Playing career Dal Colle was selected seventh overall in the 2012 OHL Priority Selection by the Oshawa Generals. He was rated as a top prospect prior to the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. HC TPS
TPS or Turun Palloseura is an ice hockey team and 10-time champion of SM-liiga and 1-time champion of SM-sarja. They play in Turku, Finland, at Gatorade Center. In terms of championships, TPS is the second all-time most successful team in SM-Liiga, right behind Tappara. Team history TPS was established in 1922 as Turun Palloseura, from which the acronym derives. The club began ice hockey activities after 1929. Swedish Hockey League
The Swedish Hockey League (officially SHL; sv, Svenska Hockeyligan) is a professional ice hockey league, and the highest division in the Swedish ice hockey system. The league currently consists of 14 teams. The league was founded in 1975, and while Swedish ice hockey champions have been crowned through various formats since 1922, the title and the Le Mat Trophy have been awarded to the winner of the SHL playoffs since the league's inaugural 1975–76 season. In the 2010–11 season, the SHL was the world's most evenly matched professional ice hockey league.
