Niklas Engelin
Niclas Engelin (born 27 December 1972) is a Swedish heavy metal guitarist for Drömriket, Passenger, Engel and The Halo Effect. He previously was the lead guitarist for and Gardenian and the rhythm guitarist for In Flames and has been in and out of In Flames on six occasions. In 1997, Engelin replaced Glenn Ljungström of In Flames who had just quit. In 1998, Niclas quit In Flames and the band's drummer, Bjorn Gelotte, took over his position as guitarist. Engelin came back to fill in for Jesper Strömblad four times since back in 1998, when he quit. He rejoined In Flames briefly in late 2006 and again in 2009, as Jesper had been struggling with personal issues but maintained he would return. Niclas also toured with In Flames in North and South America, Australia, Europe, South Africa ( RAMfest 2012) and portions of Japan in their ''Taste of Chaos'' tour. Dark Tranquillity is a Swedish melodic death metal band from Gothenburg. They are considered one of the pioneering acts of the Gothenburg metal scene, which also includes bands such as In Flames and At the Gates. Mustasch
Mustasch is a rock band from Sweden. They were formed in the fall of 1998 by Ralf Gyllenhammar, Hannes Hansson, Mats Hansson and Stam Johansson in Gothenburg. Band history Mustasch was formed in Gothenburg in 1998, and recorded demos at "The Mustasch Farm" on the island Orust which were released through different record labels around the world in small numbers. In 2001 they released their first EP '' The True Sound of the New West'', embarked on a tour, and started to make a name for themselves in the Swedish metal scene. They chose the name Mustasch because many of their musical heroes had moustaches; such as Freddie Mercury from Queen and Tony Iommi from Black Sabbath. Ralf Gyllenhammar
Ralf Rafael Gyllenhammar (born Rafael Wolfgang Sebek; 1 July 1966) is a Swedish musician. He is vocalist/guitarist of the rock band Mustasch and was also the frontman of B-Thong with whom he released one album, ''From Strength to Strength'' in 1997, shortly before the band's breakup. In 2007, his work with ''Klipptoppen'' earned him an award as the best "Alternative Presenter of the Year". Gyllenhammar was also one of several guest artists on the double disc soundtrack for the Swedish drama series ''Upp Till Kamp''. Currently Gyllenhammar is endorsed by Schecter guitars which he tunes to drop C tuning and Blackstar Amplification. Melodifestivalen Gyllenhammar took part in Melodifestivalen 2013 with the song "Bed on Fire", in a bid to represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013. Hardcore Superstar is a Swedish heavy metal band from Gothenburg, Sweden. The band was formed in 1997 and have released eleven studio albums. History The first ten years (1997–2007) 1997–2004 Hardcore Superstar was formed in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1997 by Joakim Berggren and Martin Sandvik. Their previous band Link had been grunge-inspired but with their new band they wanted to pull more towards rock'n'roll. The Crown (band)
The Crown is a Swedish death metal band from Trollhättan, active from 1990 to 2004, and again since 2009. History Originally, they used the name Crown of Thorns but were forced to change their name due to an American band already using that name. Their music and lyrics are inspired by death, antireligious themes (mostly targeting Christianity) and rebellion. They are known to fuse melodic death metal with aggressive old-school death metal tendencies and considerable thrash metal influences, reminiscent of bands such as Possessed and old Sepultura. The Crown disbanded in 2004. After that, Lindstrand went on to form One Man Army and the Undead Quartet. Tervonen formed Angel Blake, named after a song by Danzig. Sunesson is in a band called Engel.
