Nikiforos ( el, Νικηφόρος, tr, Nusratlı) is a village and a former municipality in the Drama regional unit, of East Macedonia and Thrace, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform, it has been a municipal unit of the municipality of Paranesti. The municipal unit has an area of 240.998 km2. The 2011 census reported a population of 2,805 inhabitants in the municipal unit and 296 in the village. "Drama Köprüsü" The Rumelia Turkish folk song " Drama Köprüsü" (Bridge Of Drama), is set near Nikiforos. The two- to three-century-old bridge has been located between Nikiforos and the nearby village of Karyafiton. Research was conducted by Nikos Latsistalis, the chairman of the Drama Asia Minor Refugees Association with the help of a Turkish refugee from Drama to Bursa. Nikifor (21 May 1895, Krynica, Austria-Hungary – 10 October 1968, Folusz, Poland), also known as Nikifor Krynicki, born as Epifaniy Drovnyak (Epifaniusz Drowniak) 1, was a Lemko naïve painter. Nikifor painted over 40,000 pictures – on sheets of paper, pages of notebooks, cigarette cartons, and even on scraps of paper glued together. The topics of his art include self-portraits and panoramas of Krynica, with its spas and Orthodox and Catholic churches. Underestimated for most of his life, in his late days he became famous as a naïve painter. Biography Little is known of Nikifor's private life. For most of his life, he lived alone in extreme poverty in Krynica, and was considered mentally challenged. He had difficulties speaking and was almost illiterate. Nikifor Alekseevich Begichev (Bigichev) (russian: Никифор Алексеевич Бегичев (Бигичев); February 7 (Old Style and New Style dates, N.S. February 19), 1874 – May 18, 1927) was a Soviet people, Soviet seaman and polar explorer. Nykyfor Hryhoriv
Nykyfor Oleksandrovych Hryhoriv (né Nychypir Servetnyk, 1884 – 27 July 1919) was a Ukrainian paramilitary leader noted for repeatedly switching sides during the Ukrainian Civil War. He was commonly known as "Otaman Hryhoriv." In some historical accounts, his first name is given as "Matvii" or "Mykola". He is sometimes misrepresented as the otaman, or leader, of the Green armies. His association with the Green armies is due to collaboration with the army of Danylo Terpylo, which fought against the Ukrainian People's Republic, Red Army, and White Army. Although he cooperated with Terpylo, this was marginal.
