Nightslayer
Night-Slayer is a fictional character in the DC Comics universe. He first appeared in ''Detective Comics'' #529 (August 1983), and was created by Doug Moench and Gene Colan. Fictional character biography The son of a Gotham City millionaire (and undercover crime lord), Anton Knight was raised in a life of luxury and privilege. Even so, as a youth he yearned to improve himself, honing his body and mind to a sharp edge. He studied the martial arts and eventually left for the East to learn from the Masters. Anton learned of his father's death while travelling in the Orient studying the martial arts. At the funeral, Anton met his stepsister Natalia (also, perhaps erroneously, called Natasha) whom he had never met before and who had been raised in poverty. Doug Moench
Douglas Moench (; born February 23, 1948) is an American comic book writer notable for his ''Batman'' work and as the creator of Moon Knight, Deathlok, Black Mask, ''Electric Warrior'' and ''Six from Sirius''. He is also known for his critically acclaimed eight year run on '' Master of Kung Fu''. Early life Born in Chicago, Illinois, Moench has written novels, short stories, newspaper feature articles, weekly newspaper comic strips, film screenplays and teleplays. His first published work was ''My Dog Sandy'', a comic strip printed in his elementary school newspaper. Moench had a fan letter printed in The Amazing Spider-Man issue #17 (Oct. 1964) in which he praised the art of Steve Ditko. He began his professional writing career with scripts for ''Eerie'' #29 and ''Vampirella'' #7 (both cover dated September 1970) and articles for the ''Chicago Sun-Times''. Batman (NES)
''Batman: The Video Game'', is a group of platform games developed by Sunsoft for the Nintendo Entertainment System and Game Boy, loosely based on the 1989 film of the same name. Despite having the same title, each is actually a different game. The NES title is arguably the best known and contains five levels culminating in a final showdown with the Joker in the bell tower of Gotham Cathedral. It was received well despite changes from the movie upon which it was based. Sunsoft later released '' Batman: Return of the Joker'' as a follow-up which is not related to any movie. NES version Gameplay The game has a feature that was unusual in side-scrolling platform games at the time, largely to the NES itself. Unlike Sunsoft's ''Batman'' for the Mega Drive/Genesis, which features the grappling hook, Batman has the ability to do a wall jump, which is reminiscent of Ryu Hayabusa's wall scaling in ''Ninja Gaiden''. Nocturna () is a fictional supervillainess character appearing in comic books published by DC Comics, created by Doug Moench and Gene Colan. The Batman family enemies are a collection of supervillains appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. These characters are depicted as adversaries of the superhero Batman and his allies. Since Batman first appeared in '' Detective Comics'' #27 (May 1939), his supporting cast has expanded to include other superheroes, and has become what is now called the " Batman family". As with most superheroes, a cast of recurring enemies to the Batman family have been introduced throughout the years, collectively referred to as Batman's "rogues gallery".
