Nocturna () is a fictional supervillainess character appearing in comic books published by DC Comics, created by Doug Moench and Gene Colan. The storyline involving her began in '' Detective Comics'' #529 (August 1983), and her first appearance was in '' Batman'' #363 (September 1983). The pre-''Crisis'' incarnation of Nocturna appeared in the first season of the live-action Arrowverse series '' Batwoman'', portrayed by Kayla Ewell. The Black Canary is the name of two superheroines appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics: Dinah Drake and her daughter Dinah Laurel Lance. The original version was created by the writer-artist team of Robert Kanigher and Carmine Infantino, the character debuted in ''Flash Comics'' #86 (August 1947). "One Year Later" is a 2006 comic book storyline running through books published by DC Comics. It involves a narrative jump exactly one year into the future of the DC Universe following the events of the ''Infinite Crisis'' storyline, to explore major changes within the continuities of many different comic books within the DC Comics library. Stephanie Brown is a superheroine appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, most commonly associated with Batman. The character first appeared in ''Detective Comics'' #647 (June 1992) and was created by Chuck Dixon and Tom Lyle. The daughter of the criminal Cluemaster, the character originated as the amateur crime-fighter named the Spoiler. Later, she briefly became the fourth Robin (character), Robin and the third Batgirl. She has also served as the love interest/girlfriend of the third Robin (character), Robin, Tim Drake. From 2009 to 2011, she was the star of her own ongoing ''Batgirl'' comic book series.
