Niger–Turkey relations are the foreign Bilateral relation, relations between Niger and Turkey. Turkey has an Diplomatic mission, embassy in Niamey since January 2012 while Niger has an embassy in Ankara since October 2012 and Consulate, consulates in Istanbul, Bursa and Antalya. 29 international treaties and agreements were signed between the 2 countries since 2012. Then Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan visited Niger once in January 2013 while the List of heads of state of Niger, President of Niger Mahamadou Issoufou visited Turkey once in March 2014 and List of heads of government of Niger, Prime Minister of Niger Brigi Rafini visited Turkey once in January 2018. The International trade, trade volume between two nations was $46,485,000 in 2013, $35,272,000 in 2014 and $31,351,000 in 2015, almost all of it being Turkish exports to Niger. Mahamadou Issoufou (born 1 January 1952) is a Nigerien politician who served as the President of Niger from 7 April 2011 to 2 April 2021. Issoufou was the prime minister of Niger from 1993 to 1994, president of the National Assembly from 1995 to 1996, and he was a candidate in each presidential election from 1993 to 2016. Bilateral Relation
Bilateralism is the conduct of political, economic, or cultural relations between two sovereign states. It is in contrast to unilateralism or multilateralism, which is activity by a single state or jointly by multiple states, respectively.
