Nicolò Consolini
Nicolò Consolini (born 22 December 1984) is a former Italian footballer who played as a defender. Consolini spent entire career in Emilia–Romagna region and was one of the longest serving players for Sassuolo in the club's history. Career Bologna Born in Bologna, capital of Emilia–Romagna region, Consolini started his career with hometown club Bologna F.C. 1909. However Consolini never became a true member of the team. Consolini played his only game for the first team in 2003–04 Coppa Italia, against Brindisi on 2 October 2003. He wore no.29 shirt that season. Sassuolo In mid-2004 Consolini was transferred to Emilia minor club Sassuolo. Stefano Pioli (; born 20 October 1965) is an Italian football manager and a former footballer who played as a defender. He is the head coach at Serie A club AC Milan, whom he led to the Serie A title in 2022. Playing career Pioli, a native of Parma, started his own playing career for his home city team, Parma. Marco Giancarlo Andreolli (born 10 June 1986) is a retired Italian professional footballer who played as a centre-back. Club career Padova and Internazionale Andreolli began playing with Padova's youth system before being signed by Inter in 2003. He made his Serie A debut against Reggina in May 2005, aged 18, and made two more appearances in the 2005–06 Serie A. On 29 November 2006, during a Coppa Italia match against Messina, Andreolli scored his first professional goal in the 6th minute. Inter won this game 4–0. Andrea Mandorlini (born 17 July 1960) is an Italian association football, football manager and former Defender (association football), defender, currently in charge of club Mantova 1911, Mantova. Playing career Mandorlini made his playing debut on 4 February 1979 with Torino F.C., Torino. He left Torino in 1980 to join then-Serie B team Atalanta B.C., Atalanta. Massimiliano Allegri (; born 11 August 1967), also known as Max Allegri, is an Italian professional football manager and former player who is the manager of club Juventus. The 2007–08 Serie C1 season was the thirtieth football league season of Italian Serie C1 since its establishment in 1978. It was divided into two phases: the regular season, played from September 2007 to May 2008, and the playoff phase from May to June 2008. The league was composed of 36 teams divided into two divisions of 18 teams each, whose teams were divided mainly according to geographical principles. Teams finishing first in the regular season, plus one team winning the playoff round from each division were promoted to Serie B; teams finishing last in the regular season, plus two relegation playoff losers from each division, were relegated to Serie C2.
