Nicolás Corvetto
Nicolás Ignacio Crovetto Aqueveque (born Nicolás Ignacio Corvetto Aqueveque; 15 March 1986) is a Chilean association football, footballer who plays as a left midfielder for Deportes Magallanes, Magallanes. Club career Crovetto started with his hometown team Coquimbo Unido before signing with Audax Italiano in 2007. After one year in Audax, Crovetto moved to Udinese Calcio. He spent his first six months in Italy without being able to play, however, as he had problems getting a work permit. In January 2009 Crovetto was loaned to Albacete Balompié until end of the season. In April 2009 Audax Italiano claimed that the Italian club owe the transfer fee of the player. In summer 2009 his EU passport was solved, and he left for Serie B side U.S. Triestina Calcio, Triestina. In January 2010 he left for A.S. Taranto Calcio, Taranto. Coquimbo
Coquimbo is a port city, commune and capital of the Elqui Province, located on the Pan-American Highway, in the Coquimbo Region of Chile. Coquimbo is situated in a valley south of La Serena, with which it forms Greater La Serena with more than 400,000 inhabitants. The commune spans an area around the harbor of . The average temperature in the city lies around , and precipitation is low. History The area was originally occupied by indigenous people, who used it as a settlement and for fishing purposes. The natural harbour in Coquimbo was taken over by Pedro de Valdivia from Spain in 1550. The gold and copper industry in the region led to the city's importance as a port around 1840 and many Europeans especially from England settled in Coquimbo. In 1879 it was recognised as a town. The city was on the main path of totality of the Solar eclipse of July 2, 2019.
