Nicolas Stemann
Nicolas Stemann (born 1968 in Hamburg, West Germany) is a German theatre director. He is best known for directing the 2002 stage production of ''Hamlet'' at Schauspiel Hannover, a theatre in Hanover. Career Stemann studied German literature and philosophy at the University of Hamburg, and drama, theatre and directing at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna. Later he also studied at the theatre academy in Hamburg with Jürgen Flimm and Christof Nel. He has been active in his chosen field of profession since 1995. The first time he received national attention was through the production of his ''Trilogy of Terror'' in 1997 at ''Kampnagel'' in Hamburg and Hoftheater Gostner in Nuremberg (''Antigone (Sophocles), Antigone'' by Sophocles, ''The Seagull'' by Anton Chekhov, ''Leonce and Lena'' by Georg Büchner). Thalia Theater (Hamburg)
The Thalia Theater is one of the three state-owned theatres in Hamburg, Germany. It was founded in 1843 by Charles Maurice Schwartzenberger and named after the muse Thalia. Today, it is home to one of Germany's most famous ensembles and stages around 9 new plays per season. Current theatre manager is Joachim Lux, who in 2009/10 succeeded Ulrich Khuon. Elfriede Jelinek
Elfriede Jelinek (; born 20 October 1946) is an Austrian playwright and novelist. She is one of the most decorated authors writing in German today and was awarded the 2004 Nobel Prize in Literature for her "musical flow of voices and counter-voices in novels and plays that, with extraordinary linguistic zeal, reveal the absurdity of society's clichés and their subjugating power". Philipp Hochmair
Philipp Hochmair (German: Help:IPA/Standard German, [ˈfɪǀɪp ˈhoːxmɑɪɐ]); born 16 October 1973) is an Austrian theater, film and television actor. Early life Hochmair grew up in Vienna (Austria) where he discovered his passion for literature, film and theater. He studied acting at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna in the master class of Klaus Maria Brandauer and at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique, Conservatoire National Supérieur d'Art Dramatique in Paris.
