Nicolas Edet (born 2 December 1987) is a French professional road cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . He has entered the Tour de France on eight occasions and completed the race seven times. He won the mountains classification in the 2013 Vuelta a España, and wore the red jersey of overall race leader, for one day, during the 2019 Vuelta a España. La Ferté-Bernard
La Ferté-Bernard () is a commune in the Sarthe department in the Pays de la Loire region in north-western France. History La Ferté-Bernard owes its origin and name to a stronghold (''fermeté'') built about the 11th century and afterwards held by the family of Bernard. In 1424 it did not succumb to the English troops until after a four months' siege. It belonged in the 16th century to the family of Guise and supported the League, but was captured by the royal forces in 1590. La Ferté-Bernard was involved in the 1906 Grand Prix de l'Automobile Club de France, the world's first motoring Grand Prix. The D97 towards Le Mans and the D1 towards Vibraye and Saint-Calais formed two sides of the triangular course. The 2012 Tour de France was the 99th edition of the Tour de France, one of cycling's Grand Tours. It started in the Belgian city of Liège on 30 June and finished on the Champs-Élysées in Paris on 22 July. Combativity Award In The Tour De France
The combativity award is a prize given in the Tour de France for the most combative rider overall during the race. Historically, it favored constant attackers as it was based on the distance spent in a breakaway, included winning checkpoints and outright stage wins. Today, the winner is chosen by a jury. Besides the overall winner, the jury also awards a combativity award to the most aggressive rider at the end of each stage, with this rider allowed to wear a red number the following race day. The 1981 Tour de France marked the last time the winner of the general classification also won the combativity award. The 2011 Tour of Turkey is the 47th edition of the Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey cycling stage race. The 2011 Tour of Austria (german: 2011 Internationale Österreich Rundfahrt) was the 63rd edition of the Tour of Austria, an annual bicycle race.
