Nicolae Florescu
Nicolae "Bubi" Florescu (14 November 1949 – 21 September 2011) was a Romanian professional footballer and manager. In his career, he played mostly for Steagul Roșu Brașov and FC Bihor Oradea, but also for teams such as Înfrățirea Oradea, Minerul Bihor and Unirea Valea lui Mihai. As a manager, Florescu activated at third tier clubs such as Minerul Bihor or Unirea Valea lui Mihai and until 1992 he was a coach at the Bihorul Sports High School (LPS Bihorul). Club career Steagul Roșu Brașov Florescu started his senior career at Steagul Roșu Brașov in 1967, where he also made his debut in the Divizia A. On 26 November 1967, he scored the only goal of a victory against ASA Târgu Mureș, now that goal ranking him as the 10th youngest scorer in the history of the team from Brașov. Codlea
Codlea (; german: Zeiden; Transylvanian Saxon dialect: ''Zäöeden''; hu, Feketehalom) is a municipiu, city in Brașov County, Transylvania, Romania. History During the 13th century, the Teutonic Order built a fortress known as ''Schwarzburg'' ("black castle") near the "Măgura Codlei". The castle's name was first noted in 1265 and was rebuilt for the last time in 1432 by the craftsmen's guild that worked in the town. Csaba Györffy
Csaba Györffy (9 July 1943 – 18 October 2018) was a Romanian footballer who played as a winger. Career Csaba Györffy was the one who influenced Steagul Roșu Brașov to change its official colors from white and blue to black and yellow. The change came after in December 1966 Györffy went on a tournament with Romania's Olympic football team in Uruguay. After a match with Peñarol, Györffy received from captain Alberto Spencer the shirt with which he played. Györffy was fascinated by the combination of yellow and black stripes and decided at the return in the country to wear the shirt during his training sessions with the team. The decision to change the colors of the club was taken by coach Silviu Ploeşteanu, who considered that, in the new colors, the team will be seen better on the field. Cornel Lupău (born 2 October 1957 – 15 June 2014) was a Romanian professional footballer. Lupău grew up at Minerul Baia Mare, team for which he made his senior debut, at the level of Divizia B.
