Nicola Todeschini
Nicola Todeschini (born 18 April 1997) is a Swiss figure skater. He is the 2015 Swiss national senior champion and has reached the free skate at two ISU Championships. As of August 2022, he competes for the Netherlands. Personal life Nicola Todeschini was born on 18 April 1997 in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland. He lives in Sonvilier, Switzerland and in La Chaux-de-Fonds. Career Todeschini was coached by Myriam Loriol-Oberwiler in Neuchâtel in the 2011–12 season. He was named in the Swiss team to the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria, and finished tenth. His Junior Grand Prix (JGP) debut came in the 2012–13 season. He was sent to the 2013 World Junior Championships in Milan but was eliminated after placing 33rd in the short program. Loriol-Oberwiler coached him until the end of the season. ISU Figure Skating Championships
The International Skating Union organizes six annual Championships for figure skating. It is at the discretion of each member country which skaters, pairs or synchronized skating teams are sent to which championship. No skater in men's single skating, women's single skating, pair skating and ice dancing can compete at all four competitions in one season, but some skaters have competed at all four over the course of their careers. The 2015 World Junior Figure Skating Championships was an international figure skating competition in the 2014–15 season. Commonly called "World Juniors" and "Junior Worlds", the event determined the World Junior champions in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The event was held on 2–8 March 2015 at the newly constructed Tondiraba Ice Hall in Tallinn, Estonia. Bavarian Open
The Bavarian Open is an annual international figure skating competition organized by the Skating Union of Bavaria. Since 2011, it is sanctioned by the Deutsche Eislauf Union and the International Skating Union. The event is held in February at Eissportzentrum Oberstdorf in Oberstdorf, Germany. The 2014–15 figure skating season began on July 1, 2014, and ended on June 30, 2015. During this season, elite skaters competed at the ISU Championship level in the 2015 European, Four Continents, World Junior, and World Championships. Brian Orser
Brian Ernest Orser, (born 18 December 1961) is a Canadian former competitive and professional figure skater and coach to Olympic champions. He is the 1984 and 1988 Olympic silver medallist, 1987 World champion and eight-time (1981–88) Canadian national champion. At the 1988 Winter Olympics, the rivalry between Orser and American figure skater Brian Boitano, who were the two favorites to win the gold medal, captured media attention and was described as the "Battle of the Brians". Orser turned professional in 1988 and skated with Stars on Ice for almost 20 years. As a coach, he has led both Yuna Kim (2010) and Yuzuru Hanyu (2014, 2018) to Olympic titles. 2012–13 ISU Junior Grand Prix
The 2012–13 ISU Junior Grand Prix was the 16th season of the series of junior international competitions organized by the International Skating Union. It was the junior-level complement to the 2012–13 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating contested by senior-level skaters. Skaters competed in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance.
