Niclas Jönsson
Niclas ("Nic") Jönsson (born August 4, 1967, Bankeryd) is a Swedish racing driver, currently driving in the FIA World Endurance Championship. He drove in the Indy Racing League in the 1999 and 2000 seasons with 4 career starts. His best career IRL finish was in 12th position in the 2000 Delphi Indy 200 held at Walt Disney World Speedway. He made one NASCAR Busch Series (now Xfinity Series) start at Montreal in August 2007, he started 8th, led five laps, and finished 12th in the #28 car for Jay Robinson Racing. In 2009 he was hired by USF1 team owner Ken Anderson as a test driver for the fledgling American Formula 1 team. 2011 24 Hours Of Le Mans
The 79th 24 Hours of Le Mans (French: ''79e 24 Heures du Mans'') was an 24-hour automobile endurance race for Le Mans Prototype (LMP) and Le Mans Grand Touring Endurance (LMGTE) cars. The race was held from 11 to 12 June 2011 at the Circuit de la Sarthe, near Le Mans, France, before 249,500 spectators. It was the third round of the 2011 Intercontinental Le Mans Cup, and the 79th edition of the event as organised by the automotive group the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) since 1923. A test day was held six weeks prior on 24 April. Northstar Engine Series
The Northstar engine is a family of high-performance 90° V engines produced by General Motors between 1993 and 2011. Regarded as GM's most technically complex engine, the original double overhead cam, four valve per cylinder, aluminum block/aluminum head V8 design was developed by Oldsmobile R&D, but is most associated with Cadillac's Northstar series. Displacing in its basic form, the direct family line transitioned to longitudinal and supercharged versions. G-Force Technologies
G-Force Technologies (formerly Chip Ganassi Racing Ltd.) was an American racing car manufacturer originally formed by Americans Chip Ganassi and Ken Anderson in 1991. Ganassi would leave the company early on and the company was renamed G Force Precision Engineering. The company built successful cars in the Indy Racing League and 24 Hours of Le Mans. G-Force race cars won 4 Indianapolis 500s and 2 IRL Championships. G-Force was purchased by Élan Motorsport Technologies in 2002 and all manufacturing was moved to Elan's facilities in Braselton, GA. Ken Anderson would leave to form Falcon Cars with Michael Kranefuss to build a competing chassis for the 2004 IRL season.
