Nickey Barclay
Nicole Barclay (born 1951) is an American singer, songwriter and musician. She was a member of the all-female rock group Fanny and has collaborated with Joe Cocker, Barbra Streisand and Keith Moon. Career In the late 1960s, Barclay joined the collective of session musicians known as the Musicians Contact Service in Los Angeles. In January 1970, she was asked to join the all-female rock group Fanny as a singer and keyboardist. She was one of the main songwriters and lead singers in the group, and appeared on all their albums, adding soul, blues and funk influences to the group's overall sound. After joining Joe Cocker for a few months on his March 1970 US tour as a backing vocalist, during which she was recorded for the live album '' Mad Dogs and Englishmen'', Barclay returned to Fanny. Barbra Joan Streisand (album)
''Barbra Joan Streisand'' is the thirteenth studio album by Barbra Streisand, released in August 1971 on Columbia Records. It was her second consecutive album produced by Richard Perry and features backing work by members of the female band Fanny. Like the two previous studio albums, the singer continued to opt for a more contemporary repertoire, this time choosing three songs by Carole King, two by John Lennon, two by Burt Bacharach and Hal David in medley form, and one each by Laura Nyro and the trio Michel LeGrand, Marilyn Bergman and Alan Bergman. Three singles were released from the album, two of which had a moderate performance on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and were a hit on the Adult Contemporary chart. Dave Ball (musician)
David J. Ball (30 March 1950 – 1 April 2015) was an English guitar player. Career In April 1971, he left Big Bertha and joined Procol Harum after he saw an advertisement in ''Melody Maker''. He replaced Robin Trower, who had left the group to form his own band. He can be heard on the group's live album, ''Procol Harum Live with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra'', but left the group during the recording sessions for their 1973 album ''Grand Hotel'', in September 1972. He then formed the group Bedlam with his brother Dennis and drummer Cozy Powell, who released an album on Chrysalis Records, but the group disbanded after a brief period. He also recorded with Long John Baldry on Baldry's 1973 album ''Good to Be Alive''. He also played in the Nickey Barclay Band in London in the 1980s. Procol Harum
Procol Harum () were an English rock music, rock band formed in Southend-on-Sea, Essex in 1967. Wilgar William Campbell (1946 – October 1989) was an Irish blues rock musician, best known for his role as drummer with Rory Gallagher in the early 1970s.
