Nick Sheridan (mathematician)
Nick William Sheridan (born May 21, 1988) is an American football coach and former quarterback who is the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at the University of Alabama. He previously served as the tight ends coach at the University of Washington and was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at the Indiana University. He played college football for Michigan. Playing career Sheridan walked on to Michigan as a quarterback in 2006. He earned a scholarship his junior year and started 4 games in 2008. Sheridan graduated from Michigan in 2010 with a degree in political science. Coaching career After graduating from Michigan, Sheridan took a coaching position at his alma mater, Saline High School. He coached quarterbacks at Saline for one year before leaving to join Willie Taggart's coaching staff at Western Kentucky as a graduate assistant in 2011. Offensive Coordinator
An offensive coordinator is a member of the coaching staff of an American football or Canadian football team who is in charge of the team's offense. Generally, along with the defensive coordinator and the special teams coordinator, this coach represents the second level of coaching structure after the head coach. The offensive coordinator is in charge of the team's offensive game plan, and typically calls offensive plays during the game, although some offensive-minded head coaches also handle play-calling. Willie Taggart
Willie Author Taggart (born August 27, 1976) is an American football college coach. He has held the head coach position at five NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision programs: Western Kentucky (2009 to 2012 seasons); South Florida (2013 to 2016); Oregon (2017); Florida State (2018 and part of the 2019 season); and Florida Atlantic (2020 to 2022). At all four schools, he was the first African-American to be hired as the head coach. Playing career High school career Taggart was a prep standout at Manatee High School in Bradenton, Florida, where he was a first team all-state and all-conference selection as a senior after guiding the Hurricanes to the state 5A Championship game. The Arlington Renegades are a professional American football team based in Arlington, Texas. The team was founded as the Dallas Renegades by Vince McMahon’s Alpha Entertainment and is an owned-and-operated member of the new XFL owned by Dwayne Johnson’s Alpha Acquico. The Renegades play their home games at Choctaw Stadium. The team branding and imagery draws from the outlaw motorcycle club mythos.
