Nick Perera
Nicolas Perera (born 5 June 1986) is a Spanish-born American soccer coach, executive, and player who plays for the Tacoma Stars of the MASL. He coached the team from 2018 to 2021. As an executive, Perera was most recently the general manager of OL Reign of the NWSL from 2022 to 2023. Early life Perera was born in Madrid, Spain, to Spanish father Prudencio and American mother Dione; he spent most of his childhood in Belgium. Perera speaks six languages: English, Spanish, French, Dutch, Italian, and Portuguese. Playing career Youth and college Perera played youth soccer in Belgium with club team K.N.S. Tervuren, as well as his high school team European School of Brussels. He walked on to the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos men's soccer team in 2005 after receiving a recommendation from his mother. 2006 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship
The 2006 NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament was a tournament of 48 teams from NCAA Division I who played for the NCAA Championship in soccer. The College Cup Final Four was held at Hermann Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri. All the other games were played at the home field of the higher-seeded team. The final was held on December 3, 2006. UC Santa Barbara, UCLA, Virginia, and Wake Forest made the Final Four. UC Santa Barbara beat Wake Forest and UCLA defeated Virginia. 2019 CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship
The 2019 CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship was the eighth edition of the CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship, the premier beach soccer tournament contested by North American men's national teams and organised by CONCACAF (seventh official edition, tenth edition if qualifying tournaments held jointly with CONMEBOL are also counted). The tournament took place in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico between 13–19 May 2019. The championship also acts as the qualification tournament for CONCACAF teams to the 2019 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Paraguay; the top two teams qualify. The 2013 CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship took place from 8–12 May 2013, in Nassau, Bahamas, for the first time. This will also be the first time that the qualifiers have been held in the Caribbean. The two finalists of the championship qualified for the World Cup and represented North America in Tahiti. The CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship is the main championship for beach soccer in North America, Central America and the Caribbean, contested between senior men's national teams of the members of CONCACAF. It is the sport's version of the better known CONCACAF Gold Cup in association football. The NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament, sometimes known as the College Cup, is an American intercollegiate soccer tournament conducted by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and determines the Division I men's national champion. The 2013 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup was the seventh edition of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup. Overall, this was the 17th edition of a world cup in beach soccer since the establishment of the ''Beach Soccer World Championships'' which ran from 1995–2004 but was not governed by FIFA. It took place from 18–28 September 2013 at Tahua To'ata Stadium (Stade Tahua To'ata) in Papeete, Tahiti, French Polynesia and was the fourth tournament to have taken place outside Brazil.
