Nick Nelson (American Football)
Nick Nelson (born October 16, 1996) is an American football cornerback who is a free agent. He played college football at Hawaii and Wisconsin. Professional career Oakland Raiders Nelson was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the fourth round (110th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft. On August 31, 2019, Nelson was waived by the Raiders and re-signed to the practice squad. He was promoted to the active roster on December 11, 2019. He was placed on injured reserve on December 24, 2019. On May 18, 2020, Nelson was waived by the Raiders with a failed physical designation, and reverted to the team's reserve/physically unable to perform list the next day. Nicholas B. Nelson (born December 5, 1995) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the New York Yankees. Career New York Yankees Nelson attended Rutherford High School in Panama City, Florida. He drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 31st round of the 2014 MLB draft, but did not sign and played college baseball at Gulf Coast Community College. He was then drafted by the New York Yankees in the fourth round of the 2016 MLB draft and signed. Nelson made his professional debut with the Pulaski Yankees, going 0–3 with a 3.38 ERA over innings. He pitched 2017 with the Charleston RiverDogs, compiling a 3–12 record with a 4.56 ERA over 22 starts, and 2018 with Charleston, Tampa Tarpons and Trenton Thunder, pitching to a combined 8–6 record with a 3.55 ERA over 26 games (25 starts) between the three teams. Nicholas Anthoney Nelson (born November 22, 1998) is a Jamaican footballer. He plays as a right winger for Dunbeholden in the Jamaica Premier League. Career Schoolboy Nelson was regarded as a star player and prolific striker in schoolboy football while representing Hydel High School. Club Nelson has represented Rivoli United, Waterhouse, Molynes United, Maverley Hughenden, Cavalier and Dunbeholden in the Jamaica Premier League. Nelson was captain of Molynes in 2022 season.
