Nick Morris is a British film maker better known for directing music videos in the 1980's. Career Nick Morris began writing and making amateur films at school, one of which was shown at the NFT. His professional career began in the 1980s with music videos for " The Final Countdown" by Europe, "Kyrie" by Mr. Mister and "Everytime You Go Away" by Paul Young. After making approximately 100 promos for artists such as Elton John, Celine Dion, Alison Moyet, Warrant, Terence Trent D'Arby, Stevie Wonder, Paul Carrack, Prefab Sprout, Kirsty MacColl, Go West, the Kane Gang, The Alarm, Status Quo, Toto, Natalie Cole, Nena, Scorpions and the number one charity single Ferry Aid, he moved into longer form projects including the Cirque du Soleil show '' AlegrÃa'', which was nominated for a primetime Emmy, ''Jesus Christ Superstar'', which won an International Emmy, and AC/DC's '' Stiff Upper Lip Live'' in Munich. Kane Gang
The Kane Gang were an English pop trio formed in Seaham in 1982. The group comprised Martin Brammer, Paul Woods and Dave Brewis. They scored several UK and US hits in the 1980s. Named alluding to the movie '' Citizen Kane'', the trio recorded for the record label Kitchenware, which was also home to Prefab Sprout. History Vocalists Martin Brammer (born 13 May 1957, Seaham, County Durham) and Paul Woods, with multi-instrumentalist Dave Brewis, formed the trio in 1982, after meeting while in small local bands, and signed to a small record label, which led to a deal with London Records in 1984. Their debut album, ''The Bad and Lowdown World of the Kane Gang'' (released in the US as ''Lowdown''), was released the following year. Stiff Upper Lip Live
''Stiff Upper Lip'' is the 14th studio album by Australian hard rock band AC/DC. It was released in February 2000. The album was produced by George Young, older brother of Malcolm and Angus Young and this was the last AC/DC album that George produced before his death in 2017. The album was re-released in the US on 2007 as part of the ''AC/DC Remasters'' series. It was re-released in the UK in 2005. Background The Young brothers began writing songs for what would become ''Stiff Upper Lip'' in the summer of 1997 in London and the Netherlands with Malcolm on guitar and Angus on drums, and by February 1998 the songs were completed. The band had planned on recording a new album with Canadian Bruce Fairbairn, who had produced the enormously successful '' The Razors Edge'' and ''AC/DC Live'', but Fairbairn died in May 1999.
