Nia Roberts (actress)
Nia Roberts (born 5 July 1972) is a Welsh actress. She is married to director Marc Evans. Biography The youngest of three girls, Roberts was born and brought up in Brecon, Powys. Her first language is Welsh, and she attended Brecon's Welsh-medium primary school Ysgol-y-Bannau from 1975 to 1983. Her family were active members of the Brecon Little Theatre amateur dramatics group, and aged seven she first trod the boards. Five years later, she landed her first television role as the lead girl in "The Farm", a 30-minute '' Jackanory'' play for BBC1. After gaining ten GCSEs and three A Levels, she also joined the National Youth Theatre of Wales. She then studied acting at Birmingham University, where she passed with distinction. Career Roberts' big break came in 1998, when she appeared in '' Solomon a Gaenor'' opposite Ioan Gruffudd. The Odesa International Film Festival ( uk, Оде́ський міжнаро́дний кінофестива́ль) is an annual film festival held in the middle of July in Odesa. Since 2016 the festival program has consisted of three parts: the International competition, National competition and European Documentary competition. Verona Film Festival

The Hungry Earth
"The Hungry Earth" is the eighth episode of the fifth series of the British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'', which was first broadcast on 22 May 2010 on BBC One. It was written by Chris Chibnall, who had previously written for ''Doctor Who'' and its spin-off series, ''Torchwood''. It is the first episode of a two-part story, the second episode being " Cold Blood", and features the return of the Silurians, a reptile-like humanoid race last seen in 1984's ''Warriors of the Deep''. The fifth series of the British science-fiction television programme '' Doctor Who'' was originally broadcast on BBC One in 2010. The series began on 3 April 2010 with " The Eleventh Hour", and ended with "The Big Bang" on 26 June 2010. It was produced by head writer and executive producer Steven Moffat, who took over when Russell T Davies ended his involvement in the show after " The End of Time". Tony Jordan (born 21 July 1957) is a British television writer. He was listed as the number one television screenwriter in the United Kingdom by ''Broadcast'' magazine in 2008 and among British broadcasting's top twenty in ''The Stage'' in 2009. For many years, Jordan was lead writer and series consultant for BBC One soap opera ''EastEnders''. Y Wladfa (, "The Colony"), also occasionally Y Wladychfa Gymreig (, "The Welsh Settlement"), refers to the establishment of settlements by Welsh immigrants in Patagonia, beginning in 1865, mainly along the coast of the lower Chubut Valley. ''Patagonia'' is a 2010 Welsh- Argentine drama film co-written and directed by Marc Evans. The story centres on Welsh and Argentine people connected to "Y Wladfa", the Welsh settlement in Patagonia, Argentina. The film stars several well-known Welsh actors including Matthew Rhys, Nia Roberts and the singer Duffy. It premiered at the Seattle International Film Festival on 10 June 2010 and had its UK premiere in Cardiff on 4 March 2011.
