Nexus Television
Nexus Television ( bn, নেক্সাস টেলিভিশন) is a Bangladeshi Bengali-language satellite and cable infotainment television channel owned by S. Alam Group of Industries. It was launched on 30 July 2021 as the country's first non-fiction infotainment television channel. Unlike other television channels in Bangladesh, the channel does not air drama, movies, and news programming. History In November 2013, Nexus Television was initially licensed by the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission as Rangdhanu Television ( bn, রংধনু টেলিভিশন; ). After receiving a frequency allocation to broadcast in January 2015, it began experimental broadcasts using that name in December 2019 via the Bangabandhu-1 satellite, which went for twenty-four hours a day. Gulshan Thana
Gulshan ( bn, গুলশান) is a thana situated in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is an affluent residential and business neighbourhood; and is now home to a number of the city's restaurants, shopping centres, schools, banks, members' clubs and hosts the majority of embassies and high commissions in Bangladesh. ''The Daily Ittefaq'' ( bn, দৈনিক ইত্তেফাক, translit. ''Doinik Ittefak'') is a Bengali-language daily newspaper. Founded in 1953, it is the oldest newspaper, and one of the most circulated newspapers in Bangladesh. This newspaper format is broadsheet and is printed by Ittefaq Group of Publications Limited. Television Channels In Bangladesh
Around 45 privately owned television channels were permitted by the Government of Bangladesh as of 2019, of which thirty four are currently on air. Five television channels, namely CSB News, Channel 1, Diganta Television, Islamic TV, and Channel 16, have been taken off air. Television In Bangladesh
Television is one of the most popular forms of media and information in Bangladesh. It was one of the first countries in South Asia to introduce television on 25 December 1964, in the then East Pakistan under the state-owned television network Pakistan Television Corporation in its capital, Dhaka. After the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971, the Dhaka television station of PTV was renamed to Bangladesh Television, which had a monopoly on the country's television industry until 1997, with the launch of ATN Bangla on satellite television. Muhammad Hasan Mahmud (born 5 June 1963) is a Bangladesh Awami League politician who is the incumbent Member of Parliament from Chittagong-7 constituency.
