Next Time Album
''Next Time'' ( mk, Некст Тајм, italic=yes) is the debut album of the Macedonians (ethnic group), Macedonian pop music, pop rock music, rock duo also called Next Time. The release of the album marked Next Time's fast gained success as part of the Music of North Macedonia, music scene of North Macedonia. After releasing 4 singles in just about 4 months, Next Time entered the studio for completing their first musical project and recorded 9 other songs. The finished album contained 13 songs, two of which were sung in a language other than Macedonian language, Macedonian. It was a mix of slow and fast songs, topped with a bonus track in English language, English and a cover version, cover from an old Italians, Italian pop-opera song. At the promotion for the album held in the hotel Holiday Inn in Skopje, North Macedonia over 2,000 people were present to support the newly formed duo and their first album. Nešto što Kje Ostane
"Nešto što kje ostane" ( mk, label= Macedonian, Нешто што ќе остане; en, "Something that will remain") is a song by the Macedonian band Next Time. It was the entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow, Russia, but it failed to qualify for the final round. The English version of the song is titled "The Sweetest Thing That Will Remain". Background Production history The song was composed by Macedonian composer and singer Jovan Jovanov together with the help of Damjan Lazarov, and the lyrics were written by Elvir Mekić. After the winning the Macedonian national final, the composer changed the song's arrangement making it more rock than it was at the national selection. Two more versions of the song: an English and Serbo-Croatian version were produced under the names "The Sweetest Thing That Will Remain" and "Ne dam da te diraju" respectively. Caruso (song)
"Caruso" is a song written by Italian singer-songwriter Lucio Dalla in 1986. It is dedicated to Enrico Caruso, an Italian tenor. Following Lucio Dalla's death, the song entered the Italian Singles Chart, peaking at number two for two consecutive weeks. The single was also certified platinum by the Federation of the Italian Music Industry. Meaning of the song The song simply tells about the pain and longings of a man who is about to die while he is looking into the eyes of a girl who was very dear to him. The lyrics contain various subtle references to people and places in Caruso's life. Lucio Dalla told the origin and the meaning of the song in an interview to one of the main Italian newspapers, the '' Corriere della Sera''. In popular music, a cover version, cover song, remake, revival, or simply cover, is a new performance or recording by a musician other than the original performer or composer of the song. Macedonian (; , , ) is an Eastern South Slavic language. It is part of the Indo-European language family, and is one of the Slavic languages, which are part of a larger Balto-Slavic branch. Next Time
Next Time (sometimes rendered "Некст Тајм" in Macedonian Cyrillic) is a popular rock duo from Skopje, North Macedonia. The duo consists of twin brothers Martin and Stefan Filipovski. Stefan fronts the band as the lead singer, while Martin plays the guitar and sings back-up vocals. The group represented the Republic of Macedonia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow, Russia but failed to reach the final. History Next Time was formed in early 2008 after they signed with Plan B Production. Previously they performed as a garage band at children's music festivals. Discovered by composer and songwriter, Jovan Jovanov, the Macedonian duo released their first single "Ne veruvam vo tebe" ("I Don't Believe in You") in May, 2008.
