It opened in 1995 with Lourdes Burrows as its principal; Orlando Sarmiento is the most recent principal, and was appointed in 2009. Long Island City
Long Island City (LIC) is a residential and commercial neighborhood on the extreme western tip of Queens, a borough in New York City.
