''New Moon'' is the sixth extended play released by South Korean girl group AOA, released on November 26, 2019, by FNC Entertainment. It is the group's first and only album as five members following the departure of Mina, as well as the last album released with members Jimin, Yuna, and Seolhyun. Background information On October 23, 2019, it was announced that AOA would be making a comeback in the fall after member Seolhyun posted photos from the group's MV shoot to Instagram on the same day. The album's announcement came during the group's participation on '' Queendom'', where it was announced the group would be performing a new song called "Sorry", on the show's final broadcast on October 21. Ahead of the album's release, AOA participated in a photoshoot and interview with ''Harper's Bazaar'', where they mentioned how the album would be showing off new sides of the members not seen before. AOA (group)
AOA (; an acronym for Ace of Angels) is a South Korean girl group formed by FNC Entertainment. The original 2012 eight-member line-up included: Choa, Jimin, Yuna, Youkyung, Hyejeong, Mina, Seolhyun and Chanmi. Youkyung left the group in 2016, while Choa left in 2017 due to mental health reasons, followed by Mina in 2019 to pursue her acting career, and Jimin in 2020 due to bullying allegations. Yuna and Seolhyun left in 2021 and 2022 respectively after their contracts expired. The group currently consists of the duo Hyejeong and Chanmi. ''Bingle Bangle'' (stylized in all caps) is the fifth extended play by South Korean girl group AOA. It was released on May 28, 2018 by FNC Entertainment and distributed by Kakao M. It contains a total of six songs, including the title track "Bingle Bangle". Shin Ji-min (; born January 8, 1991), better known mononymously as Jimin, is a South Korean rapper and singer. She was the leader and main rapper of the girl group AOA, which debuted in 2012 under FNC Entertainment. In 2015, Jimin was a semi-finalist in the first season of ''Unpretty Rapstar''.
