New Generations Of The People's Party (Spain)
New Generations of the People's Party ( es, link=no, Nuevas Generaciones, NNGG) is the youth wing of the People's Party. It operates in all Spain and also has structures in other countries. They share the same ideological platform of the PP: a centre-right ideology and economic liberalism, according to their own organisation, reformist centre. Their main objective is to involve young people in politics through supporting the policies, principles and values of the party by developing the 48th article of the Spanish Constitution. It has more than 100,000 members throughout Spain, approximately 65% of young people involved in political organizations. Beatriz Fanjul
Beatriz Isabel Álvarez Fanjul (born 23 August 1991) is a Spanish People's Party (PP) politician. She was elected to the Congress of Deputies to represent Biscay in November 2019, and was voted president of the New Generations of the People's Party (NNGG) in 2021. Biography Fanjul was born in Bilbao in the Basque Country as one of six children, including a twin sister. She studied Business Administration and Management from the University of Deusto; as of November 2019 she had not graduated. She began playing chess at the age of four and played it competitively until she was 25. The People's Party ( es, Partido Popular ; known mostly by its acronym, PP ) is a conservative and Christian-democratic political party in Spain. The People's Party was a 1989 re-foundation of People's Alliance (AP), a party led by former minister of the dictatorship Manuel Fraga and founded back in 1976 as alliance of post-Francoist proto-parties. Ermua
Ermua is a town and municipality located in the province of Biscay, in the autonomous community of Basque Country, northern Spain. In 2019, Ermua had 15,880 inhabitants. Ermua is a town in the Durangaldea comarca of the province of Biscay in northern Spain. It is situated in a steep-sided valley beside the Río Ego, a tributary of the Deba River. Miguel Ángel Blanco Garrido (13 May 1968 – 13 July 1997) was a Spanish politician who was a councillor in Ermua in the Basque Country for the People's Party (PP). He was kidnapped and subsequently murdered by the separatist group ETA. Biography Early life Miguel Ángel Blanco was born on 13 May 1968 in Ermua (Biscay) into a humble family. He had a sister, María del Mar. His father, Miguel Blanco, was a construction worker and his mother, Consuelo Garrido, was a housewife. They were Galician immigrants from Xunqueira de Espadanedo (Ourense, Galicia). Consuelo died on 1 April 2020 from coronavirus, three weeks after her husband's death.
