New Central Polish Airport
The Solidarity Transport Hub or Central Communication Port ( pl, Centralny Port Komunikacyjny, ''CPK''), is a megaproject of the Government of Poland aimed at the construction of a new, built-from-scratch airport to be located approximately southwest of Warsaw, as well as a new nationwide high-speed rail and controlled-access highway network linking the CPK to much of the rest of the country. The opening of the CPK airport would not mean that Warsaw Chopin Airport would be closed; no official decision has yet been made. The English name "Solidarity Transport Hub Poland" is proposed for the project by its website. The planned launch of the port is 2028. At first the airport is to have two runways (4,000 m × 45 m), but eventually four. Mszczonów
Mszczonów (Yiddish: אַמשינאָוו ''Amshinov'') is a town in Żyrardów County, Masovian Voivodeship, Poland, with 6,231 inhabitants as of the 2006 census. It is situated just outside the Warsaw metropolitan area, approximately 45 km from Warsaw city centre. Sochaczew
Sochaczew () is a town in central Poland, with 38,300 inhabitants (2004). In the Masovian Voivodeship (since 1999), formerly in Skierniewice Voivodeship (1975–1998). It is the capital of Sochaczew County. Sochaczew has a narrow-gauge railway museum with a line that runs as far as Wilcze Tułowskie. 750 mm-gauge steam trains run on the line on Saturdays from spring to the end of summer. Wołomin is the main town of Wołomin County situated in the Masovian Voivodship. Wołomin is situated approximately east of Warsaw, the capital of Poland, near the railway to Białystok. Expressway S8 (Poland)
Expressway S8 or express road S8, officially named The Route of the Heroes of the Battle of Warsaw 1920 ( pl. ''droga ekspresowa S8'', ''Trasa Bohaterów Bitwy Warszawskiej 1920 r.'') is a major road in Poland which connects Wrocław via Łódź and Warsaw to Białystok. Its fragment forming the bypass of Wrocław (22.7 km) is constructed in motorway standard and marked as A8 instead. The whole road is long. Construction of its last fragment finished in October 2019. The construction was part of the European Union's plan to fund express roads in Poland. In September 2019, it was announced that an extension of S8 from Wrocław to Kłodzko was added to the plans and will be constructed in the future. The autostrada A2 in Poland, officially named Autostrada Wolności (''Motorway of Freedom''), is a motorway which runs from interchange Świecko with national road 29 near the Polish-German border in Świecko/Frankfurt an der Oder (connecting to A12 autobahn), through Poznań and Łódź to Warsaw and, in the future, to the Polish-Belarusian border in Terespol/Brest (connecting to M1 highway). The motorway is a part of the European route E30 connecting Berlin and Moscow.
