New Brunswick Route 735
Route 735 is a long mostly north–south secondary highway in the southwestern portion of New Brunswick, Canada. Most of the route is in Charlotte County. The route starts at the Canada/US Border in a densely wooded area near King Brook Lake. The road travels southeast through Gleason Road and Pomeroy Ridge to Route 730 in Scotch Ridge. Continuing, the road passes Potters Lake and Kendricks Lake near Barter Settlement. The final stretch of the route passes through Mayfield before ending in Five Corners at the eastern terminus of Route 725 and the southern terminus of Route 740 near Saint Stephen. The Ministry (government department), Department of Transportation is a part of the Government of New Brunswick. It is charged with the maintenance of the provincial highway network and the management of the province's automobile fleet. The department was established in 1967 when Premier of New Brunswick, Premier Louis Robichaud split the Department of Public Works and Highways (New Brunswick), Department of Public Works and Highways. In 2012, it returned to these roots when it was merged with most of the Department of Supply and Services (New Brunswick), Department of Supply and Services to form a new Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (New Brunswick), Department of Transportation and Infrastructure.
