New Brunswick Route 620
Route 620 is a long mostly north–south secondary highway in the eastern portion of New Brunswick, Canada. The route starts at Route 107 in Stanley where it travels southwest across the Nashwaak River to Limekiln. In Boyds Corner, the route turns south to run through Tay Creek, Tay Mills, Cardigan, and Hamtown Corner. From here, the route travels past Hurlett, Carleton Lake, and Estey's Bridge. Continuing, the route travels through Royal Road and over the Nashwaak River before running on the east bank. It breaks away from the Nashwaak River as it enters Fredericton, where it is known as ''Royal Road''. It ends at Route 105. New Brunswick Route 105
Route 105 is a collector highway in New Brunswick running from Route 10 in Youngs Cove to Route 108 in Grand Falls, mostly along the east and north banks of the Saint John River, over a distance of . Route 105 consists largely of former alignments of Route 2 (the Trans-Canada Highway) and runs parallel to Route 2 over its entire length. Since late 2016, a gap has existed on Route 105 since the closure and removal of the old Jemseg River Bridge connecting Jemseg and Coytown. Traffic must use the nearby Route 2 freeway and the newer Jemseg River Bridge to bypass the affected section of Route 105. Stanley, New Brunswick
Stanley (2016 population: 412) is a village in York County, in the Canadian province of New Brunswick. History Stanley straddles the Nashwaak River 30 km north of Fredericton at the intersection of Route 107 and Route 620. The area was colonized in 1833 when a group associated with the New Brunswick and Nova Scotia Land Company became interested in the area. Early impressions of the land were not positive, with surveyors noting the rocky soil as one problem. The general remoteness of the location was also a problem. Initial immigrants to Stanley arrived in three waves. The first was young children and teens from London. The second was farmers and tradesmen from the Eastern Borders of Scotland and England. The third arrived from the Isle of Skye. In 1846, were established as the Parish of Stanley. By 1951, there were 130 residences, and 149 stores and barns.
