Route 575 is a long east–west secondary highway in the western portion of New Brunswick, Canada. The route starts at New Brunswick Route 105, Route 105 in Hartland, New Brunswick, Hartland near Lower Becaguimec Island. The road travels east through a mostly forested area through Pole Hill, New Brunswick, Pole Hill, where it crosses the South Branch Becaguimec Stream. The Ministry (government department), Department of Transportation is a part of the Government of New Brunswick. It is charged with the maintenance of the provincial highway network and the management of the province's automobile fleet. The department was established in 1967 when Premier of New Brunswick, Premier Louis Robichaud split the Department of Public Works and Highways (New Brunswick), Department of Public Works and Highways. In 2012, it returned to these roots when it was merged with most of the Department of Supply and Services (New Brunswick), Department of Supply and Services to form a new Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (New Brunswick), Department of Transportation and Infrastructure.
