New Baltimore is a city in Macomb County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 12,117 at the 2020 census. New Baltimore is a northern suburb of Metro Detroit and is located along the northern shores of Lake St. Clair. History New Baltimore incorporated as a village in 1867 and as a city in 1931. Republished in 1979 by the New Baltimore Public Library. Previously, it was split between Macomb and St. Clair counties; however, in the 1970s, the city was able to petition to adjust the county boundaries such that it would align with the city's eastern border. This placed New Baltimore completely in Macomb County, where it remains to this day. New Baltimore is the primary hamlet in the town of New Baltimore, Greene County, New York, United States. It is a census-designated place (CDP), first listed as such prior to the 2020 census. The New Baltimore Hamlet Historic District occupies the historic core of the hamlet. The CDP is in the northeastern corner of Greene County and the town of New Baltimore, overlooking the Hudson River.The community's northern border is with the town of Coeymans in Albany County, and the western border follows Hannacrois Creek, a tributary of the Hudson, and Interstate 87, the New York State Thruway. New Baltimore, Pennsylvania
New Baltimore is a borough in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 137 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Metropolitan Statistical Area. History The first settler was Michael Riddlemoser, who built a house here in 1820, and laid out the street plan in 1829. The community was initially known as Mosersburg, and was later renamed New Baltimore, after Riddlemoser's hometown. The borough was incorporated in 1874. In the 1880s, a major railroad yard and maintenance facility were planned for New Baltimore to serve the South Pennsylvania Railroad. In the end, construction on the railroad stopped and the tracks were never laid, and New Baltimore lost its chance to become a significant railroading center.
