Neville Ashworth
Neville Ashworth is a fictional character from the British Channel 4 soap opera, ''Hollyoaks'', played by Jim Millea. He debuted on-screen during the episode airing on 30 September 2005 and was introduced by David Hanson. Neville departed in July 2010 with his wife Suzanne Ashworth ( Suzanne Hall) and their son Josh Ashworth (Sonny Flood), after they were all axed by new executive producer Paul Marquess. Character creation Backstory Neville Ashworth is one of the main 'adult' characters in Hollyoaks and the head of the Ashworth family. As such, the character has provided the parental viewpoint in storylines that cover issues such as eating disorders, incest, drug addiction and misattributed parentage. Jim Millea
James Millea (born 25 November 1958) is an English actor who played small businessman and publican Neville Ashworth in the Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks''. Millea trained at the Rose Burford College of Speech and Drama, and developed his acting skills in theatre by appearing in several National Theatre Productions, including ''Six Characters in Search of an Author'', ''Hey Luigi'', ''Fathers and Sons'' and ''Ting Tang Mine''. Paul Marquess (born 23 June 1964) is a television producer from Belfast, Northern Ireland. Danny Valentine is a fictional character from the British Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', played by David Judge. He first appeared in 2007 and made his final appearance in 2008. The Dog in the Pond (commonly known as The Dog, briefly named The Jolly Roger) is a fictional public house in the British Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks''. It has been at the centre of the show's setting since it began in 1995. In 2003, The Dog in the Pond was nominated as the "Best TV Boozer of All Time" in a poll run by Blackthorn Cider.
