Netherby is an inner-southern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia which lies within the City of Mitcham. It is bordered by the suburbs of Springfield, Kingswood, Mitcham and Malvern. The County of Adelaide is one of the 49 cadastral counties of South Australia and contains the city of Adelaide. It was proclaimed on 2 June 1842 by Governor Grey. Mitcham Square Shopping Centre is a shopping mall in the City of Mitcham, located on Belair Road, Torrens Park, an inner southern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It consists of 55 retail and food outlets, two supermarkets, Foodland and Woolworths, a seven screen cinema, operated by Wallis Cinemas, along with many specialty shops including Mitcham Square Newsagency which has been owned and operated by the same family for over 27 years. Sam Duluk
Samuel John Duluk is an Australian former politician. He was a member of the South Australian House of Assembly from 2015 to 2022, representing Davenport until 2018 and then Waite. He was formerly a Liberal, but resigned to sit as an independent in 2020 after allegations of inappropriate behaviour. He ran in the 2022 South Australian state election as an independent but came in third place. Since retiring from the parliament, Duluk has worked as a political lobbyist. Early life Duluk was born in the Victorian city of Mildura, and is descended from post-war migrants from Poland. Steele Hall
Raymond Steele Hall (born 30 November 1928) is a former Australian politician who served as the 36th Premier of South Australia from 1968 to 1970. He also served in the federal Parliament as a senator for South Australia from 1974 to 1977 and federal member for the Division of Boothby from 1981 to 1996. Hall was a state parliamentarian from 1959 to 1974, serving as Liberal and Country League (LCL) leader from 1966 to 1972 and premier from 1968 to 1970. He introduced electoral reform, removing the Playmander which favoured the LCL, which contributed to his party's loss at the 1970 South Australian state election. In 1972 he founded the Liberal Movement (LM), and resigned from the LCL when the LM split from the LCL in 1973. Nicolle Jane Flint (born 15 July 1978) is an Australian politician. She was the member for Boothby in South Australia in the Australian House of Representatives from 2016 to 2022. She is a member of the Liberal Party of Australia and succeeded the previous member, Andrew Southcott, at the 2016 federal election. Flint announced on 26 February 2021 that she would not contest the 2022 Australian federal election. She gave her valedictory speech on 16 February 2022. Unley High School
Unley High School, located in Netherby, South Australia. History Unley High School was founded in 1910 as one of the first public high schools to be established after Adelaide High School in 1908. Initially it was under the control of the Headmaster of the Unley Primary School, and was first housed as part of that school in the suburb of Unley. In 1915 the school was granted independence from Unley Primary. Ben Gates was appointed its first headmaster, and he remained at the school until 1940. During his headmastership the school became renowned for its discipline and high academic standards. An early link was forged with the Australian rules football club, Sturt.
