Nery Veloso
Nery Alexis Veloso Espinoza (born March 1, 1987) is a Chilean football goalkeeper who plays for Segunda División Profesional de Chile club Fernández Vial. Club career Veloso made his way through the youth ranks of Huachipato until he was finally called up to the adult side in 2006 and finally making his debut as a professional in 2007 against Melipilla. In the Clausura 2008 tournament in Chile, Veloso took over as Huachipato's first-choice goalkeeper and led the team to the quarterfinals of the playoffs losing to Colo-Colo. The ANFP awarded Veloso Best Goalkeeper Award at the end of the season. Veloso has since been linked to moves to either Universidad de Chile or Colo-Colo. Finally, it was loaned to Colo-Colo for the 2010 season. In January 2011, Huachipato loaned Veloso to Unión San Felipe for one year. Santiago Wanderers
Club de Deportes Santiago Wanderers is a football club based in Valparaíso, a founding member of the Chilean Football Federation. Their home ground, Estadio Elías Figueroa Brander, is in the north-west of the city. Wanderers have played their games there since 1931 after moving from Barrio Puerto. Founded on 15 August 1892, it's the country's oldest club and the oldest football team in Latin America as well. There are four clubs older than Wanderers in Peru and Argentina, but none of those started out as football clubs and all of their football branches started after 1892. For this reason, Wanderers is known in Chile as the ''Decano del fútbol chileno'' ("The dean of Chilean football") and forms part of Conmebol's ''Club de los 100'', section which congregates Latin-American teams founded over 100 years ago. Huachipato
Club Deportivo Huachipato is a Chilean football club based in Talcahuano that is a current member of the Chilean Primera División. The club was founded 7 June 1947 and plays its home games at the Estadio CAP, which has a capacity of 10,500 people (all-seated). History In 1947, CD Huachipato was officially notarized, and the first official recorded game was played. The original fans were the local company employees of the steel industry in Huachipato. It took a few years for the club to achieve its first successes, obtaining regional championships in 1956 and 1964. In its early seasons, "the Steelers" (''Acereros''), as they are known, were quite satisfactory in the second division. The 1965 debut was against ''Municipal de Santiago'' with a 3–0 victory. FIFA U-20 World Cup
The FIFA U-20 World Cup is the biennial football world championship tournament for FIFA members’ men's national teams with players under the age of 20. The competition has been staged every two years since the inaugural tournament in 1977 when it was hosted by Tunisia, under the tournament name of FIFA World Youth Championship until 2005. In 2007 the name was changed to its present form. The current title holder is Ukraine which won its first title at the 2019 tournament in Poland. Talcahuano () (From Mapudungun ''Tralkawenu'', "Thundering Sky") is a port city and commune in the Biobío Region of Chile. It is part of the Greater Concepción conurbation. Cristopher Benjamín Toselli Ríos (, born 15 June 1988) is a Chilean footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Universidad de Chile. Kirin Cup
The is an association football tournament organised in Japan by the Kirin Brewery Company. The host, Japan, is a participant in every edition. The tournament was founded in 1978 then known as Japan Cup (International competition which national teams and clubs participated in), and was last held in its full form in 2022. From 1992 onwards, the format was changed to a round robin national team competition. The first nation to win the competition was Argentina.
