Nemzeti Bajnokság I (men's Handball)
The Nemzeti Bajnokság I ( en, National Championship I, commonly abbreviated NB I) is the premier men's professional handball league in Hungary, administered by the Hungarian Handball Federation. Since 2016 the official name of the championship is ''K&H Férfi Kézilabda Liga'' due to sponsorship reasons. Overview Running since 1951, the Hungarian championship is among the strongests in Europe. MKB Veszprém KC have won the EHF Cup Winners' Cup in 2008 and have reached the semi-final of the EHF Champions League three times in the last nine seasons, capturing a silver medal in 2002. Main domestic rivals Pick Szeged are also regular members of the Champions League. László Nagy (handballer)
László Nagy (born 3 March 1981) is a former Hungarian handball player who played for Telekom Veszprém, FC Barcelona, Pick Szeged and the Hungarian national team. Among his achievements at club level are several Spanish championships and cup titles and he also won the EHF Champions League, the top continental competition in Europe two times (2005, 2011). With the Hungarian national team, Nagy's best results are two fourth places from the 2004 Summer Olympics and 2012 Summer Olympics Nagy was voted by the readers of the handball journal ''Handball Planet'' as the world's best male player in 2011. Balatonfüredi Kézilabda Sport Egyesület is a Hungarian team handball club from Balatonfüred, that currently plays in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I. The team won promotion to the top division in 2007 and achieved their best ever result in 2009 by finishing fifth. Gergő Iváncsik
Gergő Iváncsik (born 30 November 1981) is a former Hungarian handballer who played for Telekom Veszprém and for the Hungarian national team. He retired from handball in 2017. Career Club He started to play handball at the age of nine in the elementary school and later became a member of the Győri ETO FKC youth team. Dejan Perić (; born 22 September 1970) is a Serbian former handball player and current coach. Nenad Peruničić
Nenad Peruničić (; born 1 May 1971) is a Serbian handball coach and former player. Club career Born in Pljevlja, Peruničić made his senior debut with Jugović in the Yugoslav Championship, before moving to Crvena zvezda in 1990. He spent three seasons with the Belgrade club, most notably losing the championship final to Partizan in 1993. That year, Peruničić was transferred to PSG-Asnières.
