Omladinski košarkaški klub Spars, commonly referred to as OKK Spars or Spars Ilidža, is a men's professional basketball club based in Ilidža, Bosnia and Herzegovina. History The club was founded in 2005 as OKK Spars and competed in lower-ranking divisions until joining 2nd-tier A1 League in the 2011–12 season. 2009 Summer Universiade
The 2009 Summer Universiade, officially known as the XXV Summer Universiade, was celebrated in Belgrade, Serbia from July 1 to 12, 2009. The event has also been organised by a range of co-host cities mostly in Vojvodina (Serbian Autonomous Province), close to Belgrade. It was the largest sporting event ever to be organised by the city. At this Universiade the biggest star was the Russian rhythmic gymnast Evgeniya Kanaeva, who won 5 gold medals. Russia was the leading nation in the medal table, with the most gold medals (27) and most medals (76). The bidding process The bidding process for the 2009 Summer Universiade games began in early 2004. The Universiade is an international multi-sport event, organized for university athletes by the International University Sports Federation (FISU). The name is a portmanteau of the words "University" and "Olympiad". The Radivoj Korać Cup ( sr, Куп Радивоја Кораћа / Kup Radivoja Koraća) is the men's national basketball cup of Serbia. The 2021–22 ABA League Second Division was the 5th season of the ABA Second Division with 14 teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Slovenia participating in it.
