Piero Tellini
Piero Tellini (16 January 1917 – 22 June 1985) was an Italian screenwriter and film director. Born in Florence, the son of the soprano Ines Alfani(the Soprano Opera singer for 10 years with Arturo Toscanini), Tellini graduated at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome and in 1938 he entered the cinema industry as an assistant director. He later dedicated to the activity of screenwriter, contributing to the success of the Italian neorealism and notably collaborating with Luigi Zampa, Alberto Lattuada, Michelangelo Antonioni, Alessandro Blasetti and Eduardo De Filippo. In 1947 Tellini won the Nastro d'Argento for the script of Zampa's ''To Live in Peace'', while in 1952 he was awarded the Best Screenplay Award at the Cannes Film Festival for Mario Monicelli's and Steno's '' Cops and Robbers''. The Italian military rank of ''maresciallo'' (; marshal) is classified as a "sub-officer" and is the highest rank of non-commissioned officer in the Italian Armed Forces, higher than the rank of sergeant but lower than that of ensign/second lieutenant; there are from three to five grades within the rank, according to the different branches of the armed forces. Ada Colangeli (5 March 1913 – 29 February 1992) was an Italian character actress. Life and career Born in Rome, Colangeli began acting in the early 1940s, and she was mainly cast in roles of women from a low social class. Active for about twenty years, she often collaborated with the director Alessandro Blasetti, of whom she was a real life friend. Anna Campori (22 September 1917 – 19 January 2018) was an Italian actress. From 1951 onwards, she appeared in 70 films. Life and career Born in Rome, Italy, after the debut on stage in a small company of prose Campori moved shortly after into avanspettacolo and revue, entering the company of the De Vico Brothers with whom she toured across Italy during the Second World War. After her marriage to Pietro De Vico, she became the prima donna in the companies he founded, even still appearing on several stage comedies of other companies. Campori was also an active character actress for films and television series, a voice actress and a radio hostess. She made her last appearance in the TV series ''Carabinieri''.
