Hans Peter Mareus Neilsen Gammel (September 24, 1854 – February 11, 1931) was an author and bookseller. He served as editor and publisher of a series of books reporting Texas legislation enacted by each congressional and legislative session. His first publication consisted of 10 volumes and covered 75 years of Texas legal history. ''The Laws of Texas 1822-1897'' has long been a primary resource for the study of Texas legal history during the Nineteenth Century. Lorri Neilsen Glenn is a Canadians, Canadian poet, ethnographer, and essayist. Born and raised on the Prairies, she moved to Nova Scotia in 1983. Neilsen Glenn is the author and editor of several books of creative nonfiction, poetry, literacy, ethnography, and essays (scholarly and literary). Her award-winning writing focuses on women, arts-based research, and memoir/life stories; her work is known for its hybrid and lyrical approaches. Jade Neilsen
Jade Neilsen (born 24 July 1991) is an Australian competitive swimmer. She was selected to represent Australia at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the 4×200-metre freestyle relay event. Personal life Neilsen was born on 24 July 1991 in Southport, Queensland. Her uncle, Paul Neilsen, is a surfer and was 1971 world champion in the sport. Other sports she is involved with include surf lifesaving, winning the swim and board rescue event at the 2006 age Australian Championship. Philip Max Neilsen is an Australian poet, fiction writer and editor. He teaches poetry at the University of Queensland and was previously professor of creative writing at the Queensland University of Technology. Biography Neilsen was born in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. His grandparents and great grandparents were emigrants from Norway, Scotland, England and Germany. He attended Brisbane Grammar School and the University of Queensland where he gained honours, masters and doctoral degrees in English and taught for nine years. Shirley Neilsen Blum, also known as Shirley Hopps (born 14 October 1932) is an American art historian, author, gallerist, and professor emeritus at the State University of New York, Purchase (1970–1989). She specializes in Northern Renaissance art, early Netherlandish art, and modern art. In the 1950s through the 1960s, she was active in the Los Angeles gallery scene, and she co-founded and co-ran Ferus Gallery. Biography Shirley Marie Neilsen was born 14 October 1932 in Petaluma, California, to parents Dana (née Keyes) and Melvin Louis Neilsen.
