Neil Adams (judoka)
Adrian Neil Adams, (born 27 September 1958 in Rugby, Warwickshire) is an English judoka who won numerous Olympic and World Championship medals in judo representing Great Britain. He was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 1983 New Year Honours for services to judo. Early life Adams was educated at Myton School in Warwick. Adams' brother was the late professional wrestling star Chris Adams, who himself had a successful career in judo before turning to pro wrestling in 1978. Judo competition career Adams was the first British male to win a World title, and the first British male to simultaneously hold a world title and a European title. Other achievements include a gold medal at the 1981 World Judo Championships in Maastricht, the Netherlands, plus silver medals in the 1980 and 1984 Summer Olympic Games and the 1983 Judo World Championships. Neil Adams (footballer)
Neil James Adams (born 23 November 1965) is an English former professional footballer and former manager of Norwich City. He played as a midfielder for Stoke City, Everton, Oldham Athletic and Norwich City. He is currently the Assistant Sporting Director for Norwich City, having previously held the role of Loans Manager since 2015. Adams began his career playing for his local club Stoke City, where he quickly earned a reputation of being a tricky and productive winger. This prompted Everton to pay a fee of £150,000 for his signature in June 1986. He was part of the Everton's Championship-winning squad in 1987, but injuries prevented him from reaching his potential at Goodison Park and after three years he moved on to Oldham Athletic. At Oldham, Adams played a major role in helping the club gain promotion to the newly formed Premier League in 1992 and also helped the Latics to reach the 1990 League Cup Final. He signed for Norwich City in February 1994 for a fee of £250,000. ...

Playing career Adams has spent most of his career playing in the EPIHL, for teams such as Solihull Barons, Romford Raiders and Guildford Flames. From the age of 14 Adams also represented Great Britain at the junior level. Neil Adams (rugby Union)
Neil Joseph Adams (26 August 1923 – 12 April 1986) was an Australian rugby union international. Adams was born in Wyong on the NSW Central Coast and went to school in Newcastle, attending Marist Brothers Hamilton until he left at age 14 to become a carpet layer. After playing rugby league for the Army in the war years, during which he served in the Pacific, he made his first-grade rugby debut for his club Merewether Carlton in 1946. A powerful prop, Adams had several years as a New South Wales representative before getting a Wallabies call up for the 1955 tour of New Zealand, at the late age of 31. He gained his solitary Wallabies cap in the 1st Test in Wellington. Adams, who had six years as a NSW Country selector, died of pneumonia in 1986 aged 62. Neal Adams (June 15, 1941 – April 28, 2022) was an American comic book artist. He was the co-founder of the graphic design studio Continuity Associates, and was a creators-rights advocate who helped secure a pension and recognition for Superman creators Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. During his career, Adams co-created the characters Ra's al Ghul, Man-Bat, and John Stewart for DC Comics. After drawing the comic strip based on the television drama ''Ben Casey'' in the early 1960s, Adams was hired as a freelancer by DC Comics in 1967. Later that year, he became the artist for the superhero character Deadman in the science fiction comic book '' Strange Adventures''. Adams and writer Dennis O'Neil collaborated on influential runs on ''Batman'' and '' Green Lantern/Green Arrow'' in the early 1970s. Howard O'Neal Adams (January 21, 1919 – October 27, 1998), also known as Neal Adams, was an American professional football and basketball player. Born in El Paso, Arkansas, Adams played both sports for the Arkansas Razorbacks.
