Nehale Senior Secondary School
Nehale Senior Secondary School is a public school in Onayena, Oshikoto Region, Namibia. Established in 1976, it is among the oldest secondary schools in the region. Nehale SSS is named after Nehale Mpingana, king of the Ondonga. The school is located at Onayena, approximately 20 kilometres east of Ondangwa. It has a history of exceptional performance with the highest pass rate in the region and the second best preferred school in the region after Oshigambo High School. Nehale Secondary School is also a cluster centre to the schools in Onayena. It is part of Onathinge education cluster. Current State The school was established during the colonial era and has not seen major renovations since then. The school obtains most of its funding from the government. This is generally not sufficient to cover running school expenses. Its facilities are thus dilapidated. Onayena Constituency
Onayena Constituency is an electoral constituency in the Oshikoto Region of Namibia. The district capital is the settlement of Onayena. The constituency's population has grown significantly over recent years, dominated by the Ovambo language speaking people and a small group of San people. Johannes Kamati Nakwafila (born 28 August 1957 in Ohangwena Region) is a Namibian politician. A teacher by profession, he has been a member of the National Council of Namibia since 2004 and Regional Councillor for Epembe Constituency since 1999. Education and career Nakwafila is a graduate of Ongwediva High School in 1977 and Ongwediva College of Education in 1979. Uuyoka Combined School
Uuyoka Combined School is a government school in Uuyoka village in northern Namibia. It was established during the colonial era in 1961. The first lessons took place under the Camelthorn tree (local 'Okathiya') and lessons were given by local peoples. Epembe is a constituency in the Ohangwena Region of northern Namibia. It had 14,837 inhabitants in 2004 and 6,489 registered voters . The district centre is the settlement of Epembe. The South West Africa People's Organisation (, SWAPO; af, Suidwes-Afrikaanse Volks Organisasie, SWAVO; german: Südwestafrikanische Volksorganisation, SWAVO), officially known as the SWAPO Party of Namibia, is a political party and former independence movement in Namibia. Founded in 1960, it has been the governing party in Namibia since the country achieved independence in 1990. The party continues to be dominated in number and influence by the Ovambo ethnic group. SWAPO held a two-thirds majority in parliament from 1994 to 2019. Samuel Abraham Peyavali "Peya" Mushelenga (born September 01, 1975 in Oshigambo, Ovamboland) is a Namibian politician and poet. He is broadly educated, holding twelve academic qualifications from six different universities. A member of SWAPO, Mushelenga has been a member of the National Assembly of Namibia since 2005. He has served cabinet in several ministerial roles and is the minister of Information and Communication Technologies since March 2020.
