Neco Jeborie Brett (born 22 March 1992) is a Jamaican footballer who plays as a forward for USL Championship club Memphis 901. Club career Brett began his career in Jamaica with Harbour View and Portmore United before moving to the United States to play college soccer at Robert Morris University. Portland Timbers On 14 January 2016, Brett was selected in the second round (40th overall) of the 2016 MLS SuperDraft by Portland Timbers. He made his MLS debut as a late sub in a 4–2 win against Vancouver Whitecaps FC on 22 May 2016. Pittsburgh Riverhounds In 2018, Brett signed with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. The USL Championship (USLC) is a professional men's soccer league in the United States that began its inaugural season in 2011. The USL is sanctioned by the United States Soccer Federation (U.S. Soccer) as a Division II league since 2017, placing it under Major League Soccer (Division I) in the hierarchy. The 2011–12 Red Stripe Premier League was the highest competitive football league in Jamaica. It was the 38th edition of the competition. The season began in August 2011 and was completed in May 2012. The teams played each other 3 times each then the final 5 games was played amongst the top 6 and bottom 6; making it a total of 38 games each. Tivoli Gardens were the defending champions, having won their fifth Jamaican championship the prior season. Charlotte Independence is an American soccer team based in Charlotte, North Carolina that plays in the USL League One, the third tier of the American soccer pyramid. 2019 USL Championship Playoffs
The 2019 USL Championship Playoffs was the postseason tournament following the 2019 USL Championship regular season. Including USL Pro history, it was the ninth postseason tournament. The tournament began on October 23 and ended with the USL Championship Final on November 17. The top 10 teams from each conference qualified for the playoffs. Each conference had a "Play-In round" where the 7 seed hosted the 10 seed and the 8 hosted the 9. The lowest remaining seed then played the 1 seed and the other play-in survivor played the 2 seed to form an 8-team playoff bracket. Each of the 8 team playoff brackets consisted of teams within their respective conference and the matches were hosted by the higher seed. Vancouver Whitecaps Football Club is a Canadian professional soccer team based in Vancouver. They compete in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member club of the league's Western Conference.
